Have you encountered a coolant leak on your j/w pre-heater as per our illustration above?
if so this post might save you from the cost and time. But first, let me tell you what will happen if your pre-heat pump is leaking.
Scenarios and trouble you might encounter.
A coolant leak will melt the plastic terminal box and can burn the pump motor terminal and might cost you a lot in the process
How to fix it?
Before you start you should switch off all power sources and apply a lock and close both supply and return valves for your safety and verify power voltage make sure it's 0 and check also terminal continuity to verify if the motor still ok. Then start Draining.
1: Remove the terminal cover, box, and terminal. (take a photo and tag the wire before removing it so you know how to put it back)

5: Open valve check if there's no more leak then open all breakers then test run.
A friendly reminder as always wear a piece of protective equipment and use tool and chemical away from children reach and always be positive stay safe, God Bless.
