Have you ever wonder what do you call each part of a butterfly valve. Especially when you going to write a very specific service report or going to purchase the part you going to replace.

Parts of Lug Type B-valves (with bolt holes)

1: Stem
2: Bushing
3: Body
4: Flange (bolt thread)
5: Linning (sealing)  you can call it in which material it used follow y lining at the end Ex: Rubber lining.
6: Disc
7: Stem Sealing
8: Pins

Parts of Wafer Type B-Valves

1: Upper Shaft
2: Anti-Extrusion
3: Bushing
4: Seat ( is the seal call it again which material it is commonly its a rubber ex: Rubber seat)
5: Disc
6: Body
7: Shaped Ring
8: Rigid Ring

On the top of the valve, you can call it a handle and a gearbox with a handwheel
